(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On October 1, 2014 at approximately 7:25 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on patrol and observed a male driving a 2009 Volkswagen speeding westbound on Stone Road east of Victoria Road, Guelph. The vehicle registered a speed of 122 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Ivan PERIC age 18 of Halton Hills is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on November 19, 2014 to answer to the charge.
