(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 16, 2014, at approximately 10:47 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers set up a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington County Road 39 near Wellington County Road 51, Guelph-Eramosa Township. Officers spoke with the two male occupants in a 2000 Chevrolet and during the investigation, suspected marihuana was seized.
Ian PURDY age 28 of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marihuana under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 4, 2014 to answer to the charge.
