Public Assistance Sought In Aggravated Assault Investigation

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in an Aggravated Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at approximately 3:50 a.m., a 27-year-old man was on standing on Queen Street West, near Dovercourt Road, on his cell phone

– without provocation, another man struck him in the face, causing him to fall and sustain major injuries

– the other man left in a blue or green four-door car, driven by a woman.

The woman is described as white, with shoulder-length blond hair.

The man is described as brown, possibly Southeast Asian, 24 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black, flat-brimmed baseball cap with a grey or silver brim, and the LA Kings hockey logo, blue jeans, a red checkered shirt, denim vest, black boots, and carrying a black knapsack.
