(INGERSOLL, ON.) – On May 14, 2014, Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to break, enter and thefts to five local businesses. The businesses were located on King Street West and Thames Street South, and the thefts occurred sometime overnight.
Through investigation and with the assistance of the public, OPP have charged 40 year old Robert MAGVAS of no fixed address under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
Break, Enter a place – commit indictable offence ~ 5 counts
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – in Canada
Possession Break In Instruments
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The male was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
The OPP would like to thank members of the public for being vigilant, keeping their “Eyes on the Street†and reporting suspicious activity as it happens. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
