Psycho Road Rager Repeatedly Rams Vehicle Then Pulls Knife On Driver

(Ottawa, ON) –The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating an assault/ road rage incident that took place on Highway 417.

At approximately 8:10pm on November 23rd, 2016, a black pick-up was westbound in the HOV lane going up Moodie Hill on Highway 417 when it struck a grey car twice on purpose that was in the lane to his right. The grey car pulled over to the right shoulder and the driver of the black pick up did the same stopping ahead of the car.

The male suspect from the pick-up went to the driver of the car. While the victim was attempting to call the police, the male driver shoved and punched the victim. The male driver took out a knife and threatened the victim with the knife. The victim was able to take the knife away from the suspect male driver.

The suspect became enraged and punched the victim again and shoved him a few times before both of them went wrestling on the ground. The male suspect got back up and left in his black pick-up before getting off at Eagleson Rd exit.

The male suspect is described as 5’8”white male, thin short red hair with an angular face.

The suspect vehicle is described as a Black Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up with large tires and jacked up.
