(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – The Prince Edward County of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) dealt with 213 incidents this past week, here are some examples:
Aug 13
Light posts outside a King Street Picton address were damaged sometime during the previous evening. No witnesses or suspects Occurrence forwarded to the Frontline Support Unit (FSU) for follow up.
Single vehicle collision on Wellington Main Street. Property damage only, minor damage to both vehicle and building vehicle hit. No injuries.
Wellbeing check requested for an 80 year old Consecon female who had not contacted her friend in a few weeks. Check completed Female in good health.
While at a RIDE initiative, on Loyalist Parkway, an officer checked 78 vehicles which resulted in 2 Highway Traffic Act (HTA) warnings, 1HTA charge and a 3 day licence suspension for registering an ALERT” on the roadside screening device for a female driver.
A vehicle was demolished when it swerved to miss a deer and hit a rock face on a Prince Edward County Road. No injuries. Vehicle removed by Shantz towing.
Another motor vehicle collision involving a deer. Sometime around 9pm a vehicle travelling on County Road 1 struck a deer. No injuries.

An Athol resident contacted Police to report ongoing issues with the Landlord. Not a police issue
