(Prince Edward, ON) On Saturday the 10th of August 2013 a man died on his farm located on Victoria Road in Ameliasburgh.
The investigation into the death of the male indicates several large bales of hay, weighing approximately 700lbs each and stacked just inside the barn door, fell onto the victim when he opened an access door. The bales were believed to have been stacked properly initially but shifted over time due to animals eating away at them.
The deceased is Gordon Douglas CARTER age 69yrs.
