Preston HILLIARD – Trafficking, Impaired Care and Control, Drive While Suspended, etc. etc.

(Stone Mills Township, ON) – On the 21st of March 2017 in the early morning hours officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to the call of a suspicious vehicle parked near Mountain Road in Stone Mills Township. A blue Chevrolet was parked on an ATV trail and had two occupants sleeping in the vehicle.

The officers arrived on scene and located a male and female sleeping in the vehicle. The male driver was arrested for Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Drug. Offices searched the vehicle and seized Crystal Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marihuana and injectable Hydromorphone, $800 in cash, drug paraphernalia and stolen property. During the investigation is was determined that the male driver was wanted by Kingston City Police for Breaking and Entering, Breaching an Undertaking and Breaching a Recognizance of Bail Conditions.

Preston HILLIARD a 28 year old Kingston resident was charged with;

Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Drug

Possession of Proceeds obtained by Crime

5 counts of failing to comply with an Officer in Charge Undertaking

2 counts of failing to comply with a Recognizance of Bail

Failing to Comply with a Probation Order

2 counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

2 counts of Driving while Under Suspension.

The female passenger was released at scene. The accused was held for Bail Court in Napanee on March 21st, 2017, if released he will be transferred to the custody of Kingston Police to answer to his charges before their court.
