(CARLETON PLACE, ON) – On April 24, 2014 at approximately 5:30 am the Carleton Place Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a suspicious persons report regarding two males that were seen coming from a residence back yard on Julie Anne Crescent. One male was wearing a yellow and black jacket with turquoise ball cap. The second male was wearing red running shoes, jeans and a grey and red hooded sweatshirt.
Police later located two males matching this description on Ferrill Crescent. Upon further investigation the males were arrested and police recovered property including loose change, tools, and electronic devices believed to be stolen from motor vehicles.
As a result of this investigation Brian LARABIE age 24 of Carleton Place is charged with Trespassing at Night, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Breech of Recognizance. He was held in custody for a Bail Hearing in Perth Provincial Court. Matthew PRUE age 19 of Carleton Place is charged with Trespassing at Night, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 2. He was later released on a Promise to Appear for Perth Provincial Court on June 9, 2014.
