Portable Air Conditioners Stolen

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes and businesses.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated a break and enter at an Alice Street, Waterford, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, May 22, 2015 at approximately 3:07 a.m., unknown suspects attended Waterford TV and Appliance and forcibly gained entry into the business by damaging the front glass door. Once inside, unknowns removed two (2) portable air conditioners.

The theft and damage is estimated at approximately $1,900 dollars.

Anyone with information regarding any break and enter occurrence should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122.
