(ESPANOLA, ON)- On March 21, 2016, at approximately 5:25 p.m., members from the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Agnew Lake road in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was suspended from driving.
Joseph Michael POLLARD, 29 years of age, from Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, was arrested and charged with the following:
Driving while under suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The vehicle the accused was operating was towed and impounded for seven days.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on May 12, 2016.
