(TOWN OF SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – Environment Canada has issued an ice and snowfall warning for the Bruce Peninsula area. This warning is real and police are advising potential motorists to consider avoiding travel until the storm has passed.
Police have patrolled much of Highway 6, in particular north of Wiarton, and have found the roads very slippery. If you must drive today, please take extra caution.
Police will be monitoring the highways and any road closures will be immediately disseminated to the public.
Plow operators are working hard to maintain the roads, but weather conditions continue to aggravate driving conditions.
