(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment investigated a missing male from a Main St., Hagersville, Haldimand County, ON.
On Sunday June 28th, 2015 at approximately 5:30 pm were contacted by caregivers as they could not locate their 86 year old resident. A complete search of his residence and frequented locations were checked with negative results.
Haldimand County detachment members along with OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members and the OPP Canine Unit attended the area and proceeded to conduct a search.
At approximately 8:50 pm Police were contacted by concerned citizens of an elderly male that appeared to be in need of assistance on the rail trail near Kensington Park, Hagersville, ON.
Haldimand County Paramedics, Haldimand County Fire Department and OPP ERT members attended the area and located the elderly male who was identified as the missing 86 year old man.
He was transported to hospital as a precaution. No injuries were reported.
