Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this break and enter which occurred on December 16th, 2014 at approximately 1:45 am at a property on Imperial Road just north of Conservation Line, Township of Malahide.
The male entered a detached barn/garage via an unlocked sliding door and removed a STIHL weed eater. The suspect then kicked open the shop door located beside the sliding door damaging the door jamb. A Honda water pump, Honda Pressure washer and a quantity of hand tools were stolen from the shop. Surveillance video (attached) captured images of the suspect as well as external surveillance footage captured images of the suspect’s vehicle which appears to be an older SUV possibly a GMC Jimmy (external photo not attached).
