Police Respond To Report Of Vehicle In Lake Huron – Kincardine Harbour

(LAKE HURON, ON) – On November 15, 2016 at 3:53 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle entering the waters of Lake Huron from the north pier of the Kincardine Harbour. Officers responded to the area with Bruce County paramedics, Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and members of the Saugeen Shore Fire Service.

Using 2 Zodiac boats, emergency responders searched for the vehicle until sunset.

The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) is attending to assist the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
