(ESSA, ON) The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a head on collision at 9:06 am on County Road 10 just North of County Road 21 in Essa Township.
Investigation revealed a Northbound Chrysler crossed the centre line into the path of a Southbound Chevrolet Impala. The driver of the Impala attempted to take evasive action by driving into the Northbound lane however was struck on the passenger side.
Thankfully injuries were not serious. One driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries. As a result of the collision one driver was charged was Careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
