(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On November 7, 2016 at approximately 8:35 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for assistance after a hunter became disoriented and found himself in a swamp in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The Inter-Township Fire Department attended the scene to assist. A Zodiac was used to retrieve the 30-year old Hepworth man who was then transported via ambulance to hospital as a precaution. There were no injuries reported.
The victim was dressed appropriately for hunting and had a working cell phone with him to use in case of an emergency.
