(TILLSONBURG ON) On September 15, 2013 at approximately 5:50 a.m. members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident on London Street in Tillsonburg, Ontario.
While there, Probationary Constable Remeguisz WASILEWSKI was attempting to respond to another incident when the fully marked police cruiser he was operating struck the rear of another police cruiser parked in front.
No one was injured during the collision however there was reportable damage to both cruisers. Subsequent to investigation of the collision, the member was issues a Provincial Offences Notice for Start From Stopped Position – Not In Safety contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
