(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 28 year old female with Assault Police at an Argyle St, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday November 23rd, 2013 at approximately 12:20 am Police stopped a black 2006 Lincoln SUV on Argyle St. for a Highway Traffic Act infraction and while dealing with the driver, two female passengers became involved in an assaultive confrontation.
As a result a 28 year old female was arrested, and while being taken into custody she became involved a physical confrontation with the officers.
Charged with Assault, Assault a Peace Officer, Obstruct Peace Officer and Causing a Disturbance is 28 year old Shannon SWARTZ of Haldimand County, ON. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
