(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Kenora Detachment Crime Unit are looking to the public for assistance in investigating an assault that occurred on December 20, 2013 in the City of Kenora. Police are investigating an incident of a 41 year old Kenora man who reported being assaulted around 2:00 am on December 20, 2013. The victim and a friend were walking on the 300 block of Second St South after leaving a local nightclub when they were approached by 2-4 male suspects. An altercation ensued and the male victim was knocked unconscious. He was transported to Lake of the Woods District Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
