(CHESLEY, ON) – On April 27, 2014 at 2:35 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report from a residence along 1st Avenue south in Chesley. Sometime between December 20, 2013 and January 30, 2014, a shed on the property was forcibly entered. The reporting was delayed due to a large amount of snow blocking the shed which prevented the owner from determining what was taken. The list of stolen property includes:

White Danby window mount air conditioner
Black Brinkman Medallion 5 burner grill
Wood grain infrared heater
Beige GE 40000K water softener
White box with 2 emergency lights on top
Blue Craftsman 20 gallon air compressor
Yellow Dewalt 20 volt cordless drill
Grey 18†Murray push mower
Black/Orange Black and Decker 12 volt cordless drill
Blue/White Coleman 62 quart wheeled cooler
Green/Black 8 person tent with metal poles
The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $3,000.
