Police Looking For Owners Of Recovered Construction Tools And Bath Tubs

(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit executed a warrant on July 28, 2017 at an address in Tottenham.

During the execution of the warrant, over 60 construction tools and machinery were seized along with 2 bath tubs. The items ranged from nail guns, drill sets, chainsaws, generators, air compressors and construction saws all of various brands. A small quantity of Heroin was also located during the search and seized.

Richard WITTICK, age 34 and Laura PATERSON, age 29, both from Tottenham have been arrested and charged with:

Possession of Stolen Property over $5000

Possession of Heroin

Both were released from custody and will attend a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford.

Police are requesting assistance from the public to locate the lawful owners of the property that was seized.
