(Bracebridge, ON) – Bracebridge OPP is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a vehicle that was involved in a suspect apprehension pursuit this afternoon on Highway 11 in Orillia.
The suspect vehicle and it’s operator, 58 year-old Thomas Lustvee of Bracebridge, are the subjects of an earlier criminal investigation and officers recognized the vehicle travelling north on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst and began to follow it. The vehicle soon changed direction leading officer’s south on Highway 11 and ultimately engaging it in a suspect apprehension pursuit near Simcoe Road 169 in Washago. The pursuit was ultimately terminated due to safety concerns related to changing road and weather conditions and the vehicle was last seen travelling north on Oro-Medonte Line 12.
The suspect vehicle is a 2014 Maroon/Red coloured Ford Mustang Convertible bearing Ontario Marker BVAT 430.
Police are interested in locating the vehicle and are concerned for the well-being of Thomas Lustvee.
