(BURK’S FALLS, ON) On Sunday November 3, 2013 at approximately 2:30a.m an officer from the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police was patrolling the Village of Burk’s Falls. The officer stopped a vehicle, a Pontiac Minivan for a Highway Traffic Act offence. When the officer spoke to the driver he detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage and subsequently arrested the driver.
Police later released the driver, David GOSBEE (49) of Strong Township and issued him a 3 day driver’s licence suspension for registering a “warn†following a breath test.
