Police Investigating Hit And Run: Ford F-150 With Damage To Driver’s Side

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are on the look-out for a red to burgundy coloured Ford F-150 extended crew cab that was involved in a fail to remain collision. The pickup truck will have extensive damage to the driver’s side. Officers believe the pickup truck is possibly a mid-2000s model.

Around 2:00 p.m. on April 8, 2013 officers learned the suspect vehicle was travelling westbound on Huron Road near Holmesville when it crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a dump truck. The driver of the pickup truck failed to remain at the scene and was last seen travelling northbound onto Sharpes Creek Line.

The dump truck sustained minor damage.
