(INGERSOLL, ON.) – On January 16, 2016 at approximately 9:47 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were responding to a call for service when they were involved in a collision.
The collision occurred on Bell Street near Ingersoll Street in Ingersoll. The OPP cruiser with one officer was travelling westbound on Bell Street when it came into contact with a pickup truck carrying three people. All the people involved were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Ingersoll fire department attended and assisted with the scene.
The road was closed for approximately five (5) hours for the investigation to be conducted. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
