On May 22nd, police observed a suspected stolen pick-up truck on Carling Terrace. Police attempted to stop the vehicle and it fled. Police initiated a pursuit but called it off due to safety. Through investigation, Police were able to identify the driver as Nolan Whitfield age 30 of Wingham. Whitfield is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 dangerous operation of motor vehicle, flight while pursued by peace officer and theft of electricity under $5000.
