(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a St Johns Road West, Charloltteville, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, June 8, 2015 at approximately 5:37 a.m., police were called to investigate an incident after a ladder struck a motor vehicle.
Through investigation it was determined that a black pick-up truck was travelling eastbound on St Johns Road West when the driver of the vehicle passed another motorist. As the pick-up truck was passing, a ladder that was improperly stowed fell out of the truck striking a motor vehicle also travelling eastbound.
The driver of the motor vehicle was startled and was able to safely stop their motor vehicle without being involved in a collision.
The driver of the pick-up truck failed to stop and was last seen travelling eastbound on St Johns Road West.
