(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On July 25, 2013 at 8:10pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police-Prince Edward County detachment received a report of a domestic assault that had occurred in a vehicle at the side of the road in the area of County Road 1 and Melville Road in the Ward of Hillier.
The 25-year boyfriend from Scarborough, ON is charged with the following:
• Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada. (x3)
• Uttering Threats, contrary to section 264.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada
• Forcible Confinement, contrary to section 279(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Belleville court today.
