(RYERSON TWP, ON) On Tuesday November 5, 2013 police were called to an assault in progress at a Ryerson Township residence at approximately 10:45a.m.
At the scene, police discovered that a Burk’s Falls male attended the Ryerson Township residence and assaulted both a male and female at that location. The female was transported to the Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by Parry Sound ambulance and the male did not require medical attention.
Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police, North East Region Canine Unit and Emergency Response Unit assisted in locating the suspect that had left the scene prior to police arrival.
Police later found the male in Armour Township and arrested and charged him with mischief, breach of probation, assault, assault causing bodily harm, break and enter with intent and utter threats, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The male appeared in Parry Sound Bail Court on Wednesday November 6, 2013.
