(SOUTH RIVER, ON) On Sunday August 11, 2013 at approximately 3:30pm police were dispatched to investigate a mischief that occurred earlier that day in the Village of South River. At approximately 9:00am unknown person(s) cut the Bell wire located at the Bell telephone box on Ottawa Ave directly in front of the South River Public School. The cut wire affected approximately 400 residents in South River and Machar Township with their phone service being interrupted until later that evening.
