(Central Huron, ON) On May 25, 2009 at 9:00 pm members of the Huron OPP responded to a report by the Central Huron Fire Department of a suspicious fire on the Goderich Exeter railway south/west of Clinton approximately 1 km west of London Rd.
The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate the suspicious fire. Huron OPP officers remain on scene. Damage is estimated to exceed 1 million dollars and the rail line is closed.
