(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – Elgin County OPP would like to advise that Pioneer Line between Dunborough Rd and Miller Rd is now reopened to the motoring public.

The Elgin County OPP responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision involving two commercial trucks at approximately 11:55am today at the intersection of Coyne Rd and Pioneer Line.
At this time Pioneer Line will remain closed between Miller Rd and Dunborough Rd to accommodate clean up from the motor vehicle collision.
A 59 year old Chatham-Kent man was air lifted to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation Baird Reeves, 58 years old of Port Stanley, ON is charged with failing to yield to through traffic contrary to the Highway Traffic Act section 136(1)(b)
