(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On October 27, 2015 at 1:56 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a train collision at the Florence Street crossing in the Town of Emo.
Emergency services responded where a westbound train struck a 1998 pickup truck. The driver, a 88 year male from Emo suffered no injuries in the collision.
The incident is currently under investigation.
