Photo Released Of Pump Stolen From MTO Yard

(CENTRAL HURON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating the theft of an electric pump that was stolen from the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) service yard located just west of Clinton on Highway 8. Sometime between November 17, 2015 and November 18, 2015 unknown person(s) entered onto the property and stole the pump from a storage box that was located beside a brine tank.

The MTO used the pump to pump brine for road de-icing. The pump has a 220 volt electric motor attached. The pump is valued at approximately $2,500.
