(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with the Canine Unit and members of the Norfolk County OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a male with drug and property offences after executing a search warrant at a 6th Concession Road, South Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, May 21, 2016 at approximately 1:57 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Street Crime Unit attended the 6th Concession Road address and executed a search warrant.
During the course of the search warrant, police recovered a quantity of illicit drugs and stolen property.
As a result, a 40-year-old male was taken into custody without incident.
Charged with possession of Methamphetamine, possession of Marihuana, two (2) counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and fail to comply with conditions of recognizance is 40-year-old Peter Hamm KNELSEN of Norfolk County, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
