Peter Buckley – Drunk Driving

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday August 16, 2011 shortly before 2:30 p.m., officers stopped a pickup truck at an OPP R.I.D.E. check (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) on Line 36 north of Mitchell.

The male driver of the truck failed a road side breath test and was transported to Listowel where two Intoxilyzer breath tests confirmed that he had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol.

Peter Buckley (35) of McKillop Twp. has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood”. He is set to appear in Stratford Provincial Court on September 19, 2011 to answer to this charge. He was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
