(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday August 16, 2011 shortly before 2:30 p.m., officers stopped a pickup truck at an OPP R.I.D.E. check (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) on Line 36 north of Mitchell.
The male driver of the truck failed a road side breath test and was transported to Listowel where two Intoxilyzer breath tests confirmed that he had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol.
Peter Buckley (35) of McKillop Twp. has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of bloodâ€Â. He is set to appear in Stratford Provincial Court on September 19, 2011 to answer to this charge. He was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
