Peter BUCKINDALE Faces Numerous Weapons Charges

ORILLIA, ON.) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a man in relation to the report of a City of Orillia employee being threatened with a gun.

On July 29, 2015 at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Orillia OPP received a report of a male threatening a city employee with a gun on Oxford Street in the City of Orillia. Officers attended the location, and arrested a male party in relation to the complaint at the scene without further incident. The male was found to be in possession of a Pellet Gun.

Peter BUCKINDALE, 49 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Assault with a Weapon, Pointing a Firearm, Threats to Cause Bodily Harm, and Causing a Disturbance.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing, in Barrie on July 30, 2015.
