(CAYUGA, ON) – On July 26, 2016, members the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, and the Waterloo Regional Police Technological Crime Unit, assisted the Haldimand County OPP Detachment with the execution of a search warrant at a Cayuga residence.
As a result of this search, computer devices containing images of child sexual abuse were seized and are pending forensic analysis.
Travis ROSZEL, age 32 years, of Cayuga, Ontario, is charged with the following offences:
Possession of Child Pornography (two counts), contrary to section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Accessing Child Pornography, contrary to section 163.1 (4.1) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Making Child Pornography Available, contrary to section 163.1 (3) of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on August 30, 2016.
The investigation is continuing.
