(Windsor, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit have charged a Lakeshore man following a two-month child pornography investigation.
On July 29, 2014 police from the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the Essex County OPP Detachment and members of the Windsor Police Service executed a search warrant at a Lakeshore Ontario residence. As a result of this investigation, three computers and other items pertinent to the investigation were seized. Some of the items contained images of child sexual abuse.
Mark Alexander POEHLMAN, age 30 years, of Lakeshore Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Making Child Pornography Available and one count of Accessing Child Pornography.
Yesterday, he was released from custody with conditions as a result of a bail hearing. He is scheduled to appear on August 21, 2014, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
