Pervert Alert – Ely Ronald FORBES – Child Pornography

(PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technological Crime Unit and the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Penetanguishene man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.

On June 25, 2015 police executed a search warrant at a Penetanguishene residence. As a result of this investigation, a computer system was seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.

On June 25, 2015 police arrested Ely Ronald FORBES, 42 years-old of Penetanguishene, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Making Available Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a bail hearing on June 29, 2015 in Barrie, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice.

The investigation is continuing.
