(ORILLIA, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crime Unit and the Orillia Detachment have arrested and charged an Orillia, Ontario man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On April 20th, 2015,through internet communications a male party from the City of Orillia, attended a local restaurant in town with the intent to meet two15 year old girls for a sexual purpose. Once the adult male arrived at the restaurant he was intercepted by police and removed from the restaurant without incident. As a result of this investigation, a smart phone was seized.
On April 20th, 2015, police arrested David William KING, 21 years-old of Orillia, Ontario. He is charged with two counts luring a child (invite sexual touching) and two counts of Luring a child (sexual assault). The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing on April 23rd, 2015 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie, Ontario.
