(GRAVENHURST, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Gravenhurst man for not following his release conditions.
On September 9, 2014, police arrested 37 year-old Lyle Clayton Fitchett of Gravenhurst and charged him with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused appeared for a bail hearing on September 10, 2014 and was released with conditions, one of which is to not attend parks, swimming areas or community complexes where people under the age of 18 are likely to be present.
On June 23rd, 2015 shortly after 7:00 p.m., an off-duty police officer from Bracebridge detachment recognized the man at a Gravenhurst playground and reported the issue to on-duty officers.
The accused was located, arrested and charged with four counts of Failing to Comply with his Recognizance CC145(3) and he will appear in Bracebridge Bail Court on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015.
