Pervert Alert – Claude Joseph BELLEY – Child Pornography And Firearms

(Hawkesbury, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit have charged a Hawkesbury man following an eight month on-line child pornography investigation.

On January 29, 2015 police from the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technical Crime Unit, Hawkesbury OPP and the Community Drug Action Team executed a search warrant at a Hawkesbury residence. As a result of this investigation, four computer devices and other items pertinent to the investigation were seized. Some of the items seized contained images of child sexual abuse.

Claude Joseph BELLEY, age 81 years, of Hawkesbury Ontario is charged with:

Possession of Child Pornography – two counts

Make Available Child Pornography – one count

Accessing Child Pornography – one count

Possession of Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Over 3 Kg – one count

Produce a Schedule II Substance – one count

Careless Storage of a Firearm – one count

Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – one count

The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing today, February 3, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal Ontario.

The investigation is continuing.
