Pervert Alert: 12 & 9 Year Old Approached

(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 5th, 2014, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a report that on Thursday, December 4th, 2014 two young females were approached by a male operating a motor vehicle on McKean Boulevard in the Village of Nottawa.

A further OPP investigation revealed that at approximately 4:45 p.m. on December 4th, 2 females one being 12 years old and one being 9 years old were walking along McKean Boulevard westbound when an older SUV style motor vehicle that was traveling eastbound approached and stopped near the girls. The operator of this vehicle, a male initiated conversation with the girls and then exited his motor vehicle and approached the girls. These two young ladies reacted properly and ran away and got help from a male who at the time was on a bicycle walking his dog. It is believed at this time that the above driver returned to his vehicle and left the scene in an eastbound direction.

Male
White
Approximately 5’ 11” to 6’ in height
Thin build
Short grey hair
Wearing – Black boots, ¾ length coat (possibly blue in colour) with large pockets in the front and jeans

Vehicle Description:

Older SUV style truck
Dark Green in colour
Dirty of rusty
Having a front rack with silver horns attached

The OPP would like to locate and speak to the driver of this motor vehicle. In addition the OPP is reaching out to that good neighbour who assisted our young ladies, to please also contact us as he may have important information that could assist us in locating the above driver.
