(PERTH COUNTY, ON) Summer is flying by and with only two summer long weekends left to enjoy Ontario’s outdoors the Civic Holiday promises to be a busy long weekend on Perth County roads. Long weekends in Perth County tend to increase traffic volumes as people are travelling to and from vacation destinations.
Perth County OPP officers have placed much emphasis on traffic patrols on corridors used by vacationers travelling through the County. Dedicated traffic patrols on Perth Lines 86, 72, 55, 44 and 20 have resulted in large numbers of speeding, stunt driving, distracted driving and other charges being laid on July summer weekends.
