On February 17th at 7:35 PM, a Wingham Police officer was on patrol of B Line Road when he conducted a traffic stop. The driver showed signs of impairment and was read the breath demand. He was transported to the Goderich OPP Detachment where he provided samples of his breath. A search subsequent to his arrest also revealed a small quantity of marijuana.
23 year old Perry Irvine of Gorrie is charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood and possession of a controlled substance.
