Pedestrians Suffer Major Injuries In Collision

On September 17th, 2016, shortly after midnight a serious motor vehicle collision on King Street North near Princess Street in Waterloo. The collision was between a northbound Audi and two pedestrians who were crossing the street not at a crosswalk. The Audi struck the two Kitchener brothers, ages 30 and 25, who sustained major injuries and were taken to Grand River Hospital by Emergency Medical Services. The Audi driver, a 22 year old Waterloo male was charged with Careless Driving and an alcohol violation of his G2 class drivers licence. An area of King Street was closed for several hours for the investigation.
