(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment are investigating an incident after being called to a St Andrew Street, Port Dover, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, May 23, 2015 at approximately 8:31 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned member of the public to report an assault.
Through investigation it was determined that the victim was walking in the area of St Andrew Street and Chapman Street East when they observed a vehicle driving erratically. The victim told the driver to slow down at which time the vehicle stopped and the driver exited.
The driver of the vehicle then approached the victim and became involved in a physical altercation. The driver then returned to their vehicle and was last seen heading towards Cockshutt Road.
The suspect is described as male, approximately 27 years of age, small build, wearing a baseball cap, shirt and khaki shorts.
The vehicle is described as an older white Chevrolet pick-up truck with a long box.
